Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Understand customer needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget to recommend the right vehicle.
- Conduct engaging vehicle walkarounds, demonstrations, and test drives.
- Guide customers through the complete sales process, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery.
- Build lasting relationships through consistent communication and exceptional follow-up. Develop repeat and referral business by creating positive customer experiences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the dealership CRM.
- Meet and exceed individual sales objectives while contributing to team goals.
- Stay current on Honda vehicles, features, technology, incentives, and promotions.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor vehicles and automotive market trends.
- Coordinate professional vehicle deliveries and review vehicle features, technology, warranties, and maintenance requirements with customers.
- Introduce customers to the Service team to help support a positive long-term ownership experience.
- Participate in ongoing product, sales, and professional development training.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of automotive sales experience preferred; previous retail sales experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong customer service and sales abilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented dealership environment.
- Valid Ontario driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Valid OMVIC registration/license required.
