Mauricie Volkswagen, a well-established dealership located in Trois-Rivières, is looking to fill the position of Automotive Workshop Dispatcher to support our workshop and ensure an efficient flow of operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and assign work orders based on priorities and technician availability.
- Monitor the progress of repairs and adjust schedules in real-time to optimize deadlines and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate regularly with technicians, parts departments, and the customer service team regarding delays and parts needs.
- Verify the availability of parts and technical information required to carry out interventions.
- Coordinate the dispatch and return of vehicles between the workshop and other departments.
- Update the work order management system and ensure traceability of interventions.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of workshop processes in collaboration with the team.
Qualifications and required experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a dealership or automotive workshop.
- Good knowledge of workshop processes, deadlines, and intervention priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in French; English is an asset.
- Team spirit, adaptability, ability to work under pressure, and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency with computer tools and work order management systems; knowledge of software used in automotive dealerships would be an asset.
