We are looking for an experienced damage estimator to join our team and contribute to providing high-quality repairs while ensuring an optimal customer experience.

Job Description As a damage estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing damages, preparing estimates in accordance with industry standards, and managing claims throughout the process. You will communicate with customers, insurance companies, and technicians, and oversee the alignment between estimates and planned repairs. You will work closely with the team to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards of the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate the extent of damages and prepare detailed and accurate estimates.
• Communicate with insured customers, insurance companies, and the technical team to facilitate file processing.
• Follow up on claims and ensure traceability of files until delivery to the workshop.
• Collaborate with technicians to plan repairs and optimize costs and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures, as well as customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of estimation and file management processes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in auto damage estimation or a related field.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and automotive repair practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and work as part of a team.
• Fluency in French; English is an asset.
• Proficiency with estimation tools and relevant software (including estimation and file management software).
• Rigor, attention to detail, and quality-oriented.
