About the role
Rocky Mountain Dodge is looking for an experienced, Full-Service Automotive Service Advisor to join our Service team in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Writing and managing repair orders from open to close
- Listening to customers and accurately documenting their concerns
- Reviewing service history and identifying maintenance needs
- Preparing estimates and getting proper authorization before work begins
- Communicating technician findings and recommendations in plain language
- Helping customers understand warranty coverage, repairs and costs
- Keeping customers updated, even when updates are simply that work is still pending
- Working closely with technicians, Parts, Warranty, and Service Management
- Monitoring repair orders and helping work move through the shop
- Reviewing completed work and invoices for accuracy
- Handling customer concerns professionally when plans go awry
- Maintaining accurate documentation and following AMVIC, dealership, and manufacturer requirements
- Building customer relationships to encourage return visits
- Occasionally performing duties outside of the standard list
Requirements
- Previous full-service Automotive Service Advisor experience is required
- Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealership experience preferred
- Experience with PBS software is a definite plus; experience with other automotive DMS is also valuable
- Solid understanding of automotive maintenance and repair processes
- Foundational knowledge of manufacturer and aftermarket warranties
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good attention to detail for repair orders, estimates, and authorizations
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized during busy periods
- Comfortable having occasional difficult conversations with customers
- More than basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license

Schedule
This is a full-time position:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Schedule includes alternating Saturdays with an alternate Monday off
- Some schedule flexibility may be required depending on department needs
Location
Rocky Mountain House, Alberta; approximately 45 minutes from Sylvan Lake, one hour from Red Deer and Drayton Valley, and about two hours from Calgary or Edmonton.
