This position, handled confidentially, is in the automotive sector and located in Laval, Quebec. Our client is seeking an Internal Technical Advisor for a one-year contract, intended to support the technical and operational teams while ensuring the confidentiality of information and processes.

Main responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyze and resolve technical issues encountered on vehicles and on internal systems.
• Serve as the technical liaison between the production, after-sales service, engineering and quality departments to facilitate decisions and updates.
• Design, document and update technical procedures, work instructions and reference guides.
• Train and advise teams on best practices, current standards and norms; translate technical information for non-specialist audiences.
• Participate in continuous improvement (problem solving, Lean, Kaizen) and in process optimization projects.
• Support internal audits and technical inspections; ensure traceability of actions and decisions.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure technical coherence and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements and qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a technical role, ideally in the automotive industry or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems; understanding of quality and safety standards.
• Analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical and structured approach.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills; ability to distill technical concepts for non-specialists.
• Team-oriented, autonomous and able to manage multiple files/tasks simultaneously and to meet priorities.
• Mastery of French spoken and written; technical English is an asset.
• Relevant technical diploma (electrotechnology, mechanical, industrial maintenance, automation) or equivalent experience.
