Lease Renewal Coordinator

Fortier Ford, a new dealership of the GENX Automotive Group located in Montreal East, is seeking a Rental Renewal Director — a strategic and operational leader capable of managing the renewal of leases for an exceptional portfolio.

Position Objective Lead the strategy and operations of lease renewals, ensure customer loyalty and retention, and maximize revenues while guaranteeing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the lease renewal strategy to optimize retention rates and customer lifetime value.
• Supervise and bring together a dedicated lease renewal team, ensuring proactive and personalized customer service.
• Manage a portfolio of rental contracts and coordinate efforts with Sales, Finance, Service, and Legal teams to secure quick and advantageous renewals.
• Analyze customer data and key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare reports for management, and suggest optimization actions.
• Implement proactive renewal campaigns, propose renewal, maintenance, or relocation options, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with clients and ensure the quality of information in the CRM.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements related to leases and data protection.
• Act as a customer experience ambassador, fostering a results-oriented and cross-functional collaboration culture.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lease renewal, account management, or a similar role; experience in the automotive or leasing sector is a plus.
• Strong experience in managing and developing a large client portfolio (e.g., 8,000+), with demonstrated measurable results.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and data analysis software (Excel and similar suites).
• Relevant degree (bachelor’s in administration, finance, marketing, or related field); specific leasing training would be a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-driven, customer-focused environment.
