Job Description
We are seeking a Medium-Duty Mechanic / Technician to join Boisvert Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette, located in Blainville, QC. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair medium-duty and utility vehicles in accordance with manufacturer procedures and our quality standards.
- Perform mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and electronic and electrical diagnostics.
- Work on GM vehicles and certified used vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability of interventions.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, diagnostic codes, and technical bulletins.
- Plan, execute, and document interventions in the maintenance system and service records.
- Collaborate with the after-sales team to ensure an impeccable customer experience and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics and medium-duty vehicles.
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) or equivalent in automotive mechanics; knowledge of modern diagnostic tools and software.
- Ability to read diagrams and technical manuals, strong attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent time management skills.
- Valid driver's license (class 5).
