About the role
Scotiabank is seeking an OEM Automotive Finance Relationship Manager in Vancouver, British Columbia. Lead OEM retailer relationships for Scotiabank in Calgary or Vancouver, applying automotive finance expertise and strong relationship-building skills. Support sales, leasing, KPI, and retention objectives across an assigned region.
As an OEM Client Relationship Manager, you will serve a selected manufacturer and its retailer network. You will develop business plans, review performance, coach retailers, and support product initiatives. The role requires knowledge of automotive finance operations, dealer finance programs, credit, and retail lending.
Use automotive finance, sales, credit, and relationship expertise to grow Scotiabank’s OEM retailer portfolio across Western Canada.
Responsibilities
- Develop tailored business plans supporting retailer monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives
- Review sales rates, KPIs, renewals, and acceptance rates monthly
- Coach retailers on deal structure, applications, and approvals
- Review upcoming contract maturities and identify inventory finance opportunities
- Maintain compliant operations across risk, conduct, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Undergraduate business or economics degree, or work equivalency
- Five-plus years of automotive finance industry experience
- Three-plus years of sales experience preferred
- Strong credit, communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and automotive systems
