Job Description

We are looking for a Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor to join our team at Cadillac Laval, located in Laval, Quebec. This full-time position is ideal for a customer service and automotive parts-oriented professional, ready to contribute to a premium customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and identify their needs for parts and accessories, offering tailored solutions.
  • Advise on spare parts and technical solutions, considering Cadillac vehicles and other brands served by the store.
  • Manage orders and sales transactions: preparing parts, invoicing, tracking orders, exchanges/returns.
  • Promote complementary sales, parts programs, and ongoing promotions.
  • Ensure proper management of the parts stock: receiving, labeling, inventory, organizing, and detecting discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the after-sales service team and technicians to ensure the correctness of ordered parts.
  • Maintain accuracy of customer records and parts in the computer system and management software.
  • Provide fast, courteous, and professional service, even during busy periods.
  • Participate in ongoing training on products, procedures, and store safety standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally in automotive parts sales.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories and the ability to interpret simple technical diagrams or schematics.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills in French; functional English is an asset.
  • Proficiency with computer tools and parts management and POS software; experience with an ERP system is preferred.
  • Good team spirit, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability to work on a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
