Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Advisor to join the Mauricie Volkswagen team, a well-established dealership located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. You will be the key contact for our customers, combining listening skills, transparency, and technical expertise to offer suitable solutions and ensure a top-notch customer experience.
Main responsibilities
- Welcome customers and understand their maintenance and repair needs.
- Explain diagnostics and technical solutions, present costs and service options.
- Schedule and coordinate interventions with the workshop and technicians, follow work orders, and ensure the accuracy of parts and service requests.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers throughout the process.
- Propose preventive services and relevant improvements, while respecting Volkswagen standards.
- Collaborate with the parts and after-sales service team to optimize turnaround times and quality of service.
- Update customer files and management systems accurately, while adhering to procedures and safety standards.
Profile sought
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical advisor or service advisor in the automotive sector.
- Good knowledge of automotive systems and ability to interpret diagnostics and explain solutions clearly.
- Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and teamwork skills; solution-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency with computer tools and service management software; ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Bilingual (French/English) considered an asset; valid driver’s license.
