We are looking for a Manager or Director of Automotive Services capable of leading a team of advisors, technicians, and clerks toward operational excellence and impeccable customer service.

The role

Reporting to management, you are responsible for all operations of the service department: workshop performance, profitability, productivity, quality, and customer experience. You lead an existing team and help it grow.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the service team (technical advisors, technicians, clerks)
  • Manage workshop capacity, scheduling, and productivity to meet demand
  • Achieve and surpass department performance, productivity, and profitability targets
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction levels and monitor quality metrics (CSI)
  • Recruit, train, and retain technical and advisory staff
  • Ensure compliance with Mitsubishi standards and health and safety regulations
  • Work closely with parts, detailing, and sales departments
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (billable hours, effective rate, warranties, retention)
  • Implement and optimize processes to grow the department

Your profile

  • Experience managing a service department in an automotive dealership (a major asset)
  • Motivational leadership and team development skills
  • Strong customer focus and results-driven
  • Proficiency with management systems (DMS); knowledge of Serti/Keyloop is an asset
  • Understanding of fixed operations: workshop, parts, warranties
  • Organizational skills, rigor, and independence
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
