AutoHebdo.net is seeking an account executive for external sales to join its dynamic sales team and contribute to the growth of its business. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the full range of media solutions offered by Société Trader (AutoHebdo.net) to clients within targeted assignments and identifying and developing high-revenue accounts using consultative sales techniques. In addition, the successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for designated clients and will be tasked with continually providing excellent customer service and ensuring that client expectations are exceeded in terms of satisfaction. The account executive will work with key clients and must possess superior sales, marketing, and presentation skills to meet client needs.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Development / Customer Service:
- Develop client accounts by proactively gathering and reviewing information to identify high-level sales opportunities.
- Focus on client satisfaction, maintaining and generating revenue in existing assignments and long-term account goals, in line with the vision of Société Trader (AutoHebdo.net).
- Prepare comprehensive sales presentations and business profiles; design and implement sales strategies.
- Effectively prepare before contacting the client; perform an effective assessment of needs and develop proposals to meet the client's specific needs and maximize business potential.
- Discuss advertising needs with the client; understand and promote Société Trader's (AutoHebdo.net) products and services suitable for each client based on their business objectives.
- Understand the client’s needs to create a value-based proposal rather than just selling products; demonstrate constant personal interest in the client to remind them of the value of Société Trader (AutoHebdo.net).
- Be responsible for all communications with clients, conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with client deliverables and revenue; ensure client issues are resolved effectively while maintaining excellent relationships; respond promptly to client needs.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and new products from Société Trader (AutoHebdo.net) as well as new market products, industry trends, and developments; understand current competitive market conditions.
Territory and Account Management:
- Complete the weekly sales planner to ensure effective penetration of the assigned territory and maintain the revenue base of existing clients; proactively contact existing clients; identify priorities and schedule appointments in a timely manner.
- Launch post-sale activities to ensure advertising solutions continue to meet client needs.
- Contribute to Société Trader's (AutoHebdo.net) market strategy by monitoring competitor products and client reactions; recommend new solutions and services by evaluating current solutions and identifying unmet needs.
- Spend most of their time outside the office (on the road), with clients and working to develop, manage, and retain accounts.
- Achieve sales objectives for a specific client base.
Administration:
- Keep client records up to date to ensure good territory organization and account management.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closures, follow-ups, performance indicators, and goal satisfaction.
- Present and negotiate rates for clients and prepare electronic quotes.
- Ensure all documents and reports are complete, accurate, and submitted to other departments on time.
Training and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of five to eight years of sales experience with high-revenue accounts.
- Proven results and consistency in achieving/exceeding sales goals.
- Experience selling intangible products, media/digital.
- Bilingual (French and English): English language proficiency is required for communications with managers in Ontario and with English-speaking clients.
Technical Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to maximize results by systematically managing an account plan.
- Motivation to increase sales of existing accounts.
- Ability to adapt the system using internal resources to find solutions for clients.
- Ability to inform clients through structured training activities.
- Cultivate relationships with clients by soliciting feedback and responding to requests at any time of day; ability to solve problems before escalating them.
- Ability to acquire relevant product knowledge to meet client needs.
- Ability to tailor their image to client expectations by adapting to different situations with empathy and transparency.
- Strong closing techniques; utilizing logical and progressive steps.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other computer tools.

- Strong interpersonal skills; teamwork and excellent communication (verbal and written) and listening skills.
- Results-oriented; ability to elevate a client from good to excellent status.
- Strong time and resource management skills and organizational sense; ability to prioritize and respond quickly to client requests.
