Job Title: Human Resources Manager – Workload Management and Execution

Organization: Desjardins Automotive Group

Location: Quebec City area

Reporting Line: Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources

Job Summary:

The holder of this position is responsible for operationalizing the strategic and administrative directives set by the human resources management. He or she will play a crucial role in distributing and monitoring the workload, ensuring the proper implementation of internal policies, facilitating workforce planning, and optimizing the use of HR digital tools, in order to ensure operational excellence within the Desjardins Automotive Group.

Main Responsibilities: Operational execution and monitoring of HR policies: Implement and ensure consistent application of HR manuals, policies, and procedures (compliance with Law 25, CNESST standards, anti-harassment policies). Manage and update administrative files related to recruitment, onboarding, training, and disciplinary measures. Workload coordination: Organize the daily distribution of administrative and operational tasks across all sites in Montreal or Quebec. Share progress on files and identify adjustment needs. Collaborate with field teams and site management to anticipate and plan staffing needs. Support for transformation and digital optimization projects: Actively contribute to the implementation and optimization of digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) to facilitate document management and information sharing. Participate in harmonization and digital transformation projects by proposing solutions to improve workload management. Legal compliance and management of disciplinary files: Diligently monitor compliance with legal obligations (CNESST, labor relations, employment standards) and prepare necessary documentation for audits and inspections. Assist in the application of disciplinary measures and the establishment of mediations to restore and maintain a positive work environment. Administrative and operational support for HR initiatives: Participate in organizing workforce planning (recruitment, internal mobility, onboarding of new employees). Assist in consolidating and managing files related to benefits and compensation, ensuring consistency with collective agreements and internal policies. Provide administrative support during individual or collective negotiations in coordination with legal partners.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in human resources management, administration, or a related field. A relevant first experience (1 to 3 years) in human resources administration in a unionized or regulated environment is preferred. Good knowledge of labor laws applicable in Quebec, CNESST standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., Law 25, anti-harassment policies). Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in French and good knowledge of English.
