As the Director of New Vehicle Sales, you will lead a team of sales representatives and sales managers with the ultimate goal of achieving set sales objectives.
You will need to ensure that an optimal closing rate is achieved by providing training, motivating employees, and conducting rigorous follow-ups with your sales team. You will also be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, both in terms of delivery compliance and after-sales service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise transactions in "T.O.";
- Approve transactions;
- Supervise the team of assistant managers;
- Evaluate exchanges;
- Mentor sales representatives;
- Ensure the operational efficiency of the dealership;
- Produce daily reports;
- Follow up with customers who have visited the dealership;
- Maintain a connection with the manufacturer;
- Maintain existing processes and apply new ones as needed;
- Be responsible for achieving new vehicle sales targets.
The Director of New Vehicle Sales will also occasionally participate directly in meetings with clients. A target for this purpose will also be predetermined.
You must be willing to work with a variable schedule, including evenings.
Required Experience and/or Training:
- Be recognized as excellent in closing sales;
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a sales manager in the automotive field;
- Have management experience;
- Be customer service-oriented;
- Have a high level of results orientation;
- Be enthusiastic and motivated;
- Have good communication skills;
- Be responsible and self-reliant;
- Have a professional appearance;
- Possess proven sales skills.
