At Léveillé Ford, a Ford dealership in Saint-Jérôme, in full growth, we are seeking a performance- and service-excellence-driven Assistant Director of Sales to join our dynamic team. The position involves some Saturdays for sales activities to support the dealership’s development and to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Job description The Assistant Director of Sales reports to the Director of Sales and actively contributes to achieving commercial objectives while ensuring the daily supervision and development of the sales team. You will be a pillar in optimizing the customer journey and in executing Ford’s sales and financing strategies. You will work in synergy with the Service and Parts departments to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed commercial objectives.
  • Define, monitor, and adjust the sales plans in line with the business plan and Ford promotions; analyze performance and produce regular reports.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the purchase and financing journey.
  • Manage planning and resources, including availability and the Saturdays dedicated to sales.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service and Parts departments to optimize cross-selling and post-purchase satisfaction.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and talent development; ensure ongoing training and the sharing of best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Ford policies, internal procedures, and service standards.
  • Represent the Léveillé Ford image to customers and partners, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the offering and the customer experience.

Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive sales or in an equivalent leadership role.
  • Proven experience in team management and skills development; coaching, motivation, and delegation abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-oriented skills.
  • Strong analytical ability, numerical sense, and proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Ford products and financing programs and associated promotions.
  • Fluency in French; functional English is considered an asset.
  • Availability to work Saturdays as required by operational needs.
