Looking to lead a high-performance team in the automotive sector? This position is for you! We are seeking a Service Director to join our Quebec facilities. You will be responsible for managing the after-sales service and developing an exceptional customer experience, while ensuring operational performance and department profitability.
Job Description
- Lead the after-sales service and supervise a team of technicians, receptionists, and coordinators to deliver high-quality services within designated timeframes.
- Define and monitor operational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction, first-time resolution rate, average repair time, and profitability.
- Optimize appointment scheduling, diagnostics, repairs, and billing processes; oversee parts and inventory management; ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
- Work closely with sales and the group network to maximize added services and customer loyalty.
- Guarantee safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and support team development and engagement.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
- Collaborate with parts, sales, and administrative departments.
- Train and develop employee skills.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and partners. Desired Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a service management role or operational management within the automotive industry.
- Relevant degree (e.g., administration, management, engineering) or equivalent; training in management and continuous improvement is an asset.
- Proven leadership, excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with after-sales management tools (diagnostics, parts, warranty, planning, DMS/CRM) and performance analysis; results-oriented and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze performance indicators and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual French-English preferred; ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize activities.
