Job Description
As a Technical Advisor, you will be the key intermediary between our clients and our team of certified technicians. You assess mechanical needs, explain the proposed interventions, and prepare clear and transparent quotes. You provide an impeccable customer experience, coordinate priorities, and ensure communication between clients and the workshop to guarantee reliable and efficient repairs.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome clients, listen to their concerns, and gather relevant technical information.
- Diagnose, with the help of technicians, the reported issues and propose appropriate solutions.
- Prepare detailed quotes, explain options, and recommend the best interventions.
- Coordinate repair orders, monitor deadlines, and regularly communicate progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Work in collaboration with the technical team to optimize processes and improve the customer experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or technical advising in the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems of vehicles and ability to read diagrams and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to simplify technical information.
- Good knowledge of IT tools and quoting software; organizational and time management skills.
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and ability to handle multiple files simultaneously.
- Relevant diploma (e.g., DEC in automotive mechanics or equivalent training) is a plus.
