Job Description As a Mechanic / Technician, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Mercedes-Benz vehicles and associated systems, adhering to warranty procedures and safety standards. You will work in collaboration with the after-sales team to ensure an efficient and professional customer experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose breakdowns and interpret error codes using computerized tools and specialized equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Replace defective parts, make final adjustments, and conduct operational tests.
- Maintain the shop’s order and cleanliness, and document interventions in the management system.
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow safety procedures, warranty requirements, and deadlines.
Requirements and Skills
- Degree in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics.
- Knowledge of modern systems (electronic, injection, braking, transmission).
- Ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic tools.
- Good team spirit, customer service orientation, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fluent in French; English is an asset.
