Accounting Technician – Up to $35/hr Capitale Nissan, a Nissan dealership in Quebec, is seeking a motivated and meticulous Accounting Technician to join our finance team. Responsibilities (simplified)
- Record and monitor daily accounting transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash register).
- Participate in monthly closing and basic variance analysis.
- Prepare basic financial reports and ensure document traceability.
- Collaborate with the sales and workshop departments to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and deadlines.
Qualifications and requirements
- Education in accounting (diploma or technical background) required.
- Acceptable experience in accounting from any sector; automotive experience not required.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficiency with computer tools and Excel; time management and prioritization skills.
- Fluent in French; English is an asset.
