Chambly Honda, a leading Honda dealership on the South Shore in Chambly, near Longueuil, is looking for a Technical Advisor to join our service workshop and assist our customers throughout their experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand their service and maintenance needs; propose suitable solutions and clearly explain the recommended work and estimated costs.
- Plan and prioritize work orders in collaboration with technicians; monitor the progress of repairs and ensure service quality.
- Regularly communicate with customers about their vehicle's status, costs, timelines, and available options, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Prepare service documents, estimates, work orders, and invoices; ensure the accuracy of information recorded in the service management system (DMS).
- Work closely with the technical team to optimize timelines, meet Honda standards, and ensure safety.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support customer satisfaction and loyalty objectives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (Technical Advisor, Service Advisor, or equivalent), ideally in an automotive dealership or repair shop.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to simplify technical information for clients.
- Bilingual in French; English considered an asset.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance; familiarity with Honda processes and standards is a plus.
- Team spirit, solution-oriented, organized, and capable of working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
