Job Description BMW Sherbrooke - Groupe AutoMax is seeking a passionate Technical Advisor with a love for automobiles to join its dynamic team. Under the supervision of the after-sales service manager, you act as the intermediary between customers and the technical team, assess needs, explain interventions, and ensure remarkable customer service. This role combines technical skills and personalized service in a high-end, friendly BMW environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and understand their technical maintenance or repair needs.
  • Diagnose problems in collaboration with technicians and workshop specialists.
  • Prepare clear and transparent estimates; explain interventions, costs, and timelines, and estimate deadlines.
  • Follow repair orders, communicate progress, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Propose preventive maintenance solutions, original BMW parts, and suitable warranty options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the service management system.
  • Collaborate closely with the service team and technicians to optimize efficiency and quality of service.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or in technical customer service within the automotive industry.
  • Good technical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally with familiarity with BMW systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, active listening, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Strong service orientation and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
