Job Description

At Brossard Hyundai, we are seeking a Service Director to lead our service department and drive the operational excellence of our workshop, while delivering a first-class customer experience and boosting the team's performance.

Job Description

  • Oversee and coordinate all activities of the after-sales service, from the work plan to the delivery of the repaired vehicle.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team consisting of technicians, service advisors, and supervisors to achieve quality, productivity and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Establish and monitor relevant performance indicators (KPIs) (resolution rate, cycle time, productivity, repair profitability, claims rate) and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Optimize workflow, schedule appointments and prioritize interventions to maximize workshop efficiency and minimize lead times.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work standards, quality procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage warranties, parts and the service's operating costs, in collaboration with the Sales and Parts departments.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience, manage returns and difficult situations with professionalism.
  • Actively participate in the development and ongoing training of the teams, and promote a culture of excellence and professional ethics.

Profile sought

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an automotive or after-sales service environment.
  • Inclusive leadership, team spirit, excellence in communication and the ability to inspire team members.
  • Strong organizational rigor and a pronounced focus on Health and Safety at Work.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in service management tools (DMS, CRM, inventory and warranty management) and knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes.
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with the Sales and Parts teams.
  • Relevant education (industrial engineering, management, automotive technology or equivalent). Health and Safety at Work training is a plus.

Training and qualifications

  • Relevant degree or equivalent in management, automotive technique or related field.
  • Health and Safety at Work training is appreciated.
