Longueuil Mazda, a member of Groupe Auto Longueuil and recognized for its commitment to customer satisfaction among Mazda buyers and owners on the South Shore and the greater metropolitan area, is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Technical Advisor to join its team at the mechanical service center located at 60 Boul. Roland Therrien, Longueuil.

As a Technical Advisor, you will be the essential link between our customers and our team of technicians, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and professional customer experience throughout the maintenance and repair process.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers upon arrival, understand their needs, and gather relevant information for service interventions.
  • Present preliminary diagnostics, estimated costs, and repair options, clearly explaining technical processes in an accessible manner.
  • Schedule appointments and communicate deadlines, priorities, and technical requirements to technicians and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with technicians and estimators to ensure the feasibility of repairs and the quality of interventions.
  • Follow up on work until completion, inform the customer of progress, and obtain their final approval for repairs.
  • Ensure traceability of interventions, prepare work orders, and manage parts and orders.
  • Promote relevant Mazda services and solutions (preventive maintenance, original parts, warranties) to optimize customer experience and loyalty.
  • Comply with manufacturer policies and safety standards while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Contribute to achieving the center’s goals and continuously improve internal processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within the automotive industry, ideally in the after-sales service environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work in a team and handle pressure situations while respecting deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Mazda vehicles and service systems; knowledge of technical diagnostics is an asset.
  • Relevant training (DEP or equivalent diploma in automotive mechanics, customer service management, or related field).
  • Fluent in French; operational knowledge of English is an advantage.
