Center of Pneu Papineau, a qualified automotive service center in mechanics and tires, active since 1999 and located in Montreal near Plateau-Mont-Royal, offers an opportunity to join a team dedicated to outstanding customer service and technical expertise.
We are looking for a Technical Advisor to serve as the interface between our clients and our technicians, guide technical choices, and ensure an optimal customer experience. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and analyze their needs regarding tires and mechanical maintenance, clearly explaining options and their implications for safety and performance.
- Offer personalized technical advice on tires (types, sizes, seasonal performance) and associated services (installation, balancing, alignment, inspection).
- Quickly diagnose issues reported by customers and coordinate interventions with technicians based on priorities and deadlines.
- Present estimates and recommendations, discuss options, and follow up on estimates until work completion.
- Schedule and optimize appointments, ensure procedures and quality and safety standards are followed.
- Contribute to stock management and in-store presentation of products and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, reflecting the professional image of Pneus Papineau and enhancing the customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in an auto shop, tire center, or after-sales service.
- Good knowledge of automotive systems and components and tires; ability to interpret technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Excellent customer service skills, active listening, and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Administrative rigor (management of estimates, billing, follow-up of work orders) and organizational sense.
- Team spirit, autonomy, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of maintenance standards and dealership standards; fluency in French and, ideally, English.
